On Friday, we were lucky enough to have Mr. Myron Sullivan speak to the Grade 5 students about the new technology he has developed to clean up oil spills. It was really fascinating (and sad) to learn about the impact of oil spills on the environment and economy, and exciting to think that we have witnessed first hand the cutting edge technology that will revolutionize this issue.
